IEA asks for $13.5 Trillion to combat climate change

Ahead of the upcoming United Nations Climate Change negotiations in Paris, at the end of November, the IEA (International Energy Agency) has released a report calling for a staggering $13.5 Trillion investment by 2030 in low carbon technology and efficiency.

The intention of the conference is to contain the expected 2° C (3.7° F)  rise in  temperature brought on by climate change. $13.5 Trillion sends a very clear message to all participating countries that this fight will not be won by hoping climate scientists are incorrect.
